Emmie Abadilla
, a long time member of the Cyberpress has been chosen as one of 13 finalists from a field of over 20,000 international entrants in a contest sponsored by The prize is a 10 day trip to South Africa.

She is one of two Filipinas who were chosen, the other being a certain Mimi Tagoon, 29 y.o, from Davao City. Only the Philippines has two candidates. The rest are from Canada, Poland, Norway, India, Serbia, England, Scotland, USA, Portugal, Japan, and Australia.

According to Abadilla, the finalists were picked based on their answer to the question: "What will you do if you win a free trip to South Africa?"

Though she and Tagoon have been chosen as finalists, the winner will be chosen via online votes. You may vote at Votes are limited to one per person, so you can only vote for Abadilla or the other, not both.

The contest is a joint initiative between and the South African Tourism agency.
