The IT Journalists Association of the Philippines (ITJAP) and EMC Philippines, representative office of the world’s information infrastructure leader, recently inked an agreement for an initiative to discover and harness budding talents in Philippine IT journalism. The “Write IT Right: Cyberpress-EMC On-the-Spot IT Writing Contest,” is slated for early next year and is open to senior high school students in Metro Manila. Main signatories to the accord were EMC Philippines channels manager Teddy Sumulong and ITJAP president Melvin Calimag (shaking hands) of Manila Bulletin.
